Dear AMMA friend: The Asociación Mexicana de Medicina de Aviación,A.C. (AMMA), and the Colegio Mexicano de Medicina Aeroespacial,A.C. (COLMMA), have the pleasure to invite you to attend and to participate to the XXVII International Meeting of Aerospace Medicine that, under their auspices, will be held on October 27 to30, 2010. The meeting headquarter, will be the Dorado Pacifico hotel(5 stars) in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, state of Guerrero, a beautiful resort located on the Mexican Pacific coast. The general subject of the scientific program of the meeting is: “Contemporary Aviation Medicine; its relation to the medical and the aerospace technology advances”. This year the program has been designed with special features,to offer to our guests a more active and profitable participation, aimed to reach its learning objectives. Every one of the scientific sessions of the program will be “panel sessions”; there will be a chairman and one or two either specialist physicians, or aeronautical professionals (Pilots and ATC )or pharmacologist, who will describe the achieved advances of their respective fields. At the end of their presentations, the session chairman will ask to the invited panel members: Aeromedical Authorities from ICAO, Montreal, Canadá, Federal Aviation Administration, Oklahoma,OK, Civil Aviation Medicine,Transport Canada, INMAE from Argentina, CEMAL. from Brasil, and CENMA from México, to describe, if any, the amendements, modifications or additions, that the described advances, have necessited the ammendements to their respective medical regulations or standards. Subsequently.the session attendants will be able to submit their questions and comments on the specific session´s subject, in order to create a free and fruitful exchange of ideas and criteria. For that purpose a simultaneous translation service, Spanish-English Spanish will be available, during the whole scientific program.
